Hello Darlings! I have a feeling this is going to be a long, picture heavy, adjective heavy post so grab a cup of tea and get comfy! If you remember a few weeks ago I was short listed for the Kerry Fashion Week’s Fashion Blogger of the year award. The awards night was last Friday and even though I didn’t win it was still an amazing weekend! The talented Louis O’Reilly from Style Me Curvy won, just visit her amazing blog and you’ll see why! I also want to mention how well organized the whole event was and how much effort went in to pulling it off. Everyone involved did an amazing job! It was on in the Europe Hotel in Killarney and I couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful place to spend the weekend! It was a very glamorous evening with so many people I never dreamed I would meet, I was more than a little starstruck! To be surrounded by so many beautiful, talented people was very inspiring. I wore a dress by Needle and Thread and I felt like such a princess. I am in LOVE with this dress and all the dresses by Needle &Thread! All their dresses are hand beaded. You can buy them here.
We spent all day Saturday recovering in the spa at the hotel. I wish I could spend every day after a night out in such a beautiful, peaceful place! We went from the steam room to the pool to the jacuzzi to the outdoor pool over and over again! The spa at the Europe Hotel really is one of a kind. And there’s a healthy spa cafe where you can eat while still dressed in your bath robe so you don’t have to interrupt your lounging for food! Then that evening we had dinner in the Panorma restaurant in the hotel. The highlight of the meal was the desert bar! There was a whole buffet of the most beautiful, mouthwatering creations I have ever seen! That evening for dinner I wore a Ted Baker dress from a few years ago and pink Ted Baker shoes (I think I have too much Ted Baker?).
Now back to reality after such a glamorous weekend. I have a very busy week coming up in college but I’ll have another post up on Wednesday. Until then have a fabulous week!
